This is a bang on summary of the debate! Carol was strong and presented an intelligent, compassionate, and inspiring vision for BC governance. Gordo was infuriating, insulting, and lacking both answers as well as a capacity to listen. This is exactly the type of “leadership” that makes many of us, especially young people, disengaged from partisan and electoral politics. Electoral reform will be great for BC politics! As will having an NDP government who actually cares about, listens to, and represents the people of this province.
