Bosnia’s protest movement is already receiving less media coverage, with some declaring the end of the ‘Bosnian spring’.  But the causes behind the ongoing protests are complex, and neither the causes nor the protests have disappeared.  Heather McRobie interviews Jasmin Mujanović.

  1. This interview says: “Given the circumstances, and the general sense of resentment at the ruling establishment, the plena organizers should be commended for being a genuinely moderating influence. ”

    Of course, the rulers have gained time by this moderating influence, time to work out a better divide and rule strategy. But for the masses of impoverished individuals, given the horrendous circumstances, and the general sense of hatred towards the ruling establishment, the plena organizers should be condemned for being a genuinely moderating influence, for drowning the practically subversive movement in NGOs talking the talk but doing their best to stop people walking the walk.
